Located in the Walla Walla Valley appellation of Washington State, Woodward Canyon Winery has produced award winning wines since 1981 under the leadership of owners, Rick Small and Darcey Fugman-Small. In addition to the many accolades bestowed upon this winery over the years, they are also proud to be honored with the first Washington wine to make Wine Spectator’s Top 10 List in 1990 for their Dedication Series #7, Cabernet Sauvignon.
We invite you to join Rick and Darcey, who just so happen to specialize in producing Bordeaux varietals, on a lovely 8-day river cruise in the brilliant Bordeaux region of France aboard Uniworld Boutique River Cruises – voted #1 River Cruise Line by Travel + Leisure2018 World’s Best Awards. The newly upgraded S.S. Bon Voyage will travel the Garonne and Dordogne Rivers through some of the most beautiful scenery in all of France. Along the way you’ll sip the region’s premier wine, discover some of the finest French cuisine, visit charming villages, three UNESCO World Heritage sites and so much more.
While on board ship, Rick and Darcey look forward to sharing hand-picked wines from their extensive library during private wine events, including a welcome reception, tasting and hosted dinners.

The NEW S.S. Bon Voyage
Download Deck Plan
Uniworld is excited to welcome their newest Super Ship to the rivers of Bordeaux – the S.S. Bon Voyage (former River Royal)- designed to immerse guests in French culture, art and wine, from its stunning lobby clad in polished wood, subtle brass details and hand-crafted balustrade, to the stylish emerald tones found in bar Le Salon Champage, inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s personal abode, Villa Majorelle.
The dining venues also capture the essence of France. The quintessential La Brasserie, with its natural green and pops of yellow decor inspired by the famous Bouillon Pigalle, serves traditional bistro fare. Le Grand Fromage offers menus reflective of the local cuisine, prepared from locally-sourced ingredients. La Cave du Vin is an intimate space where connoisseurs can gather for expert food and wine pairing dinners upon request.
The stunning Soleil Deck, awash in vibrant fabrics, features the only infinity pool on the rivers and spectacular views of the French countryside. Poolside service at Le Café du Soleil offers casual French cuisine as well as open-air cooking demonstrations from Uniworld chefs.
In addition to the public spaces, the S.S. Bon Voyage features four new spacious suites, and every stateroom has received an exquisite redesign with cool marble bathrooms and unique features.
