Taste the exquisite wines of Tablas Creek while also sipping on wines from Bordeaux, the scenic gateway to France’s largest wine-making region. You’ll spend two days in Bordeaux allowing for the opportunity to visit Pauillac, Sauternes, Margauex and Saint-Emilion to learn wine production, and of course, sample a glass or two. Discover a thriving art scene and Gothic architecture with an overnight in Nantes, Loire Valley before sailing into Brest where you can immerse yourself in this maiden port’s seafaring culture with a stroll along the docks at the Quai Commandant-Malbert. In addition to exploring France’s wine-making regions, other ports included in this incredible itinerary are; the walled-city of St. Malo; Cherbourg gateway to the D-Day landing beaches of Normandy; Honfleur; Rouen (easy access to Paris); St. Peter Port on Guernsey in the Channel Islands; Portland with it’s rich naval history; and finally your arrival into Southampton, England.
