Prior to joining the team at JUSTIN, Jason was the Fine Dining Manager at the Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, a 5-star resort, and Director of Administration for a Sonoma County-based restaurant group. He has extensive professional experience that has taken him throughout the United States.
Jason has a multifaceted role at the winery, where he oversees elevated tastings and tours, writes tasting notes for new vintages, develops business strategies, and manages the JUSTIN Cellar & historical archives, among other responsibilities. He works across all wine brands and regularly assists at JUSTIN’s sister wineries, Lewis Cellars & Landmark Vineyards, located in Napa and Sonoma.
Jason has also played an integral role in implementing standards and training programs that contributed to The Restaurant at JUSTIN receiving the FORBES 5-star award. His qualifications include being a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and having a culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America.
