Chris was born in Sonoma, California, and raised amongst the vineyards and wetlands of Viansa. Today, Chris and his brother Jon represent the fourth generation of Viansa and come from a long line of stewards of this land.
Chris completed his undergraduate degree at Santa Clara University and has an Executive Wine MBA from Sonoma State. Chris has extensive experience in the retail, distribution, and hospitality industries.
Chris has always had a passion for food, wine, and travel. During his personal time, he enjoys the picturesque trails of Sonoma County and loves downtime with his family. Recreating family recipes from both his mother's and grandmother's cookbooks is a passion project he's currently working on — recipes are paired perfectly with Viansa wines, of course.
