Hiroshima is a vibrant city that has risen from the ashes of the atomic bomb in World War II and was proclaimed a "City of Peace" by the Japanese Parliament in 1949. Today it is a thriving hub of culture & commerce wt. established peace museums to remember the past and promote the present and future.

Embark on a guided panoramic drive through Hiroshima and pause at key landmarks, including the hauntingly iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the beautifully reconstructed Hiroshima Castle and then to the shores of the Seto Inland Sea for a tasting at a brewery and distillery. Today's lunch is a delightful meal of Hiroshima-style okonomiyake - a savory Japanese pancake with layers of cabbage, meat, seafood, yakisoba noodles and a fried egg, then grilled to perfection. Enjoy wine with your meal before taking the shuttle back to your ship.
