Before your evening departure from Tahiti, Food & Wine Trails offers a choice of two optional day-long programs:

Option #1
Papeete: The Lively Capital of French Polynesia
Disembark the cruise ship and wander through the vibrant Papeete Market, a colorful showcase of French Polynesia's sights, scents, and flavors. Next enjoy a scenic drive along Tahiti's Stunning northeastern coast to Mahina, where emerald mountains meet the turquoise Pacific. Visit Tahiti's oldest lighthouse and stroll the waterfront. Then take a short drive to Tahara'a Viewpoint, for sweeping panoramas of Tahiti's coastline. Enjoy a delicate coconut sweet while your guide weaves stories of fact with fable. Continue with a visit to the James Norman Hall Museum, the former home of the celebrated co-author of Mutiny on the Bounty and enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the tranquil waters of Matavia Bay. After lunch take time to explore the residence and lush gardens. Conclude the day with a scenic drive to the airport, stopping at an oceanfront city-center bar for a specialty crafted cocktail.

Hotel Day Pass
Disembark your cruise ship and transfer to the beautiful Hilton Hotel Tahiti, were you can savor one final day of ocean views, gentle sea breezes, and Polynesian hospitality with the convenience of a Lounge Day Pass, including access to the lounge, swimming pool, fitness center, showers, changing facilities, and a selection of beverages. (lunch at your leisure) A group transfer will be provided to the airport.
