Weissenkirchen (Wachau Valley)

Cruise through the Strudengau and Wachau valleys to Weissenkirchen, gateway to Dürnstein. Weissenkirchen means "white church" and the town takes its name from the huge church which dominates its landscape. Savor world-renowned wines of locally grown Riesling and Grüner Veltliner. This is one of the top nine wine-cultivating towns in the Wachau and visitors come here to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Wachau Valley.
