Tamara Andruszkiewicz

A native of Canada, Tamara travelled to Venice in 1993 to organize her country's participation at the Visual Arts Biennale, and discovered something completely unrelated: the world of wine. She completed the courses to become a certified professional Sommelier in 2000, and since then curates and hosts high-level wine-tasting events in prestigious locations in Venice, and designed-to-measure excursions in the Veneto and Friuli for discerning clients.

She develops wine walks, selected wine and cheese tastings, guided lunches or dinners at selected restaurants and osterie, showcasing the insider-best of the fascinating regional eno-culinary histories. Throughout the years, Tamara has also taken a number of food-related courses, completing, among others, Slow Food’s Master of Cheese. Tamara continues to manage Canada’s presence in Venice in visual arts and architecture.
