Rebecca Robinson
After an extraordinary 29-year career with Zinfandel Advocates & Producers (ZAP), Becky Robinson is embracing an exciting new chapter filled with travel, great food and wine, and making meaningful connections.
As ZAP's longtime Executive Director, Becky championed the preservation of Zinfandel's rich history and its important place in California's wine heritage. Her legacy includes spearheading the recent creation of the ZAP archives at the UC Davis Wine & Food Library and collaborated with The Old Vine Conference to advance the preservation of historic vineyards. Through decades of leadership, she brought together winemakers, researchers, and wine enthusiasts, helping ensure Zinfandel's remarkable story continues to inspire future generations.
Becky's diverse career began at Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards. Her experience spans legislative affairs, marketing, public relations and wine industry advocacy, having served as a staff consultant in the California Legislature and coordinating a national wine legislative task force. She also brought her strategic expertise to the wine industry, holding leadership roles and serving as National President of Women for WineSense.
An adventurous traveler and passionate foodie, Becky believes the best way to discover a destination is through its local cuisine, wines, culture, and people. She loves sharing these experiences with fellow travelers and building lasting friendships along the way.
A California native and Sonoma State University graduate, Becky and her husband, Dave Goldkind live in California's beautiful Gold Country, where they enjoy entertaining and planning their next journeys.
For Becky, the adventure continues—exploring new destinations, celebrating wine, food and its history, and connecting people through unforgettable experiences.
