Jay Gifford

Jay Gifford leads the international team for Foley Family Wines & Spirits, overseeing the company’s diverse portfolio of premium US wines and spirits across global markets. Based in the UK and originally from Canterbury, Kent—often known as the “Garden of England”—Jay works closely with partners around the world to bring wines from some of the most celebrated regions in the United States, including Napa, Sonoma, Oregon, and Washington, to a global audience.

With a career spanning leading global drinks companies, including Constellation Brands, Accolade Wines, and WX Brands/Grupo Peñaflor, Jay has built a strong reputation for growing brands and developing markets. He earned the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits in 2017, reflecting his deep expertise and passion for the category.

Passionate about making wine accessible and enjoyable, Jay is particularly enthusiastic about sharing the stories behind the wineries, winemakers, and regions that make up the Foley portfolio. He is delighted to be embarking on his first ever cruise and looks forward to the pleasure of meeting esteemed guests on board and sharing some exceptional wines together!
