Jump into the adventures of Food & Wine Trails’ Columbia River Wine Cruise. We are excited to offer you this extraordinary journey along the Columbia and Snake Rivers with our partners, UnCruise Adventures.
We invite you to join Food & Wine Trails’ Vice President of Business Development, Greg Nacco, sailing round-trip Portland, Oregon – following the path of Lewis & Clark aboard the intimate Wilderness Legacy. With just 88-guest capacity onboard ship, you’ll never feel crowded or encounter long lines, in fact UnCruise’s proud motto is “Social Distancing since 1996!”
Wine lovers and explorers will revel in adventure and tastings – we think Syrah tastes even better when sipped from the ship’s bow and overlooking the hills of the riverbank! The Columbia and Snake Rivers’ cut through dramatic landscapes forged by lava flows and ice age floods. you can hike, kayak, swim and whitewater raft your way through the Columbia Gorge, and when you’re ready to kick back, sip along with an onboard certified sommelier. Have your camera ready and keep your eyes wide open for diverse wildlife, such as white-tailed deer, mountain goat, bighorn sheep, the bald eagle, red-tailed hawk, antelope, osprey and more.
When it comes to viticulture and agriculture, there is no better place in the west. From the Columbia Gorge, white grapes outnumber red and produce exquiste Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. Enjoy critically acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot of Red Mountain and superb Syrah across the Walla Walla region.
