Bob’s dedication to producing outstanding wine is not outdone by his passion for music, especially classic rock. For Bob, there is such an overlap between music and wine that a favorite song can touch a person’s soul, as much as a favorite wine – hence some of the names chosen for his vintages – Troubadour; American Girl; and Anne Rose.
Your hosts, Bob & Heather look forward to discovering with you the region that the Riesling grape calls “home” and its steeply terraced vineyards dating back to the days of the Romans. With Germany on one side, France on the other the mighty Rhine carries ships through a landscape shaped by time and history. Medieval churches and castles appear around each bend in the river, and vineyards climb the verdant hillsides. Picturesque towns and historic cities seem to jump right from the pages of children’s fairytale book.
Visit historic cities, including ancient Cologne and Kehl (gateway to picturesque Strasbourg). Also on the agenda is Breisach, your launching point to two of Alsace’s best-known wine villages – Kaysersberg and Riquewihr.
While onboard Uniworld’s S.S.Antoinette you can expect a bountiful selection from Bob Cabral Wines for your tasting pleasure, during private receptions, tastings and a special dinner.

The luxurious decor of the 443-foot, 154 passenger S.S. Antoinette – Uniworld’s first Super Ship – features fine Brazilian marble on the walls and floors, a 19th-century Venetian glass mirror, a stylish Bar du Leopard with full-service bar, and an onboard cinema. REGISTRATION FORM To book a stateroom on this sailing, you must submit a completed registration form with deposit. For your convenience the registration form can be completed and electronically signed online by all passengers traveling.
For PC users the PDF form can be completed online, saved and returned via email to receptionist@foodandwinetrails.com
For MAC users, the process for properly filling in and saving a PDF form is slightly different than on a Windows machine. By default, the Mac’s Preview application is set to open all PDF files, but Preview will not save the data you put into the forms. Right-click on the pdf or hold down the Control key on your keyboard and click on it. A menu will appear, select “Open With”. Choose Acrobat Reader from the list of programs. From within Acrobat you will be able to fill in the fields and save the file with your text and submit the completed form via email.
