Book your stateroom by September 30th (See Prices page for terms and conditions) We love great California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay so we're consequently excited to present a wine cruise hosted by two of California’s most iconic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers: Martinelli Winery from the Russian River appellation of Sonoma County, and FOXEN Winery, from the Santa Barbara region. Owners from both wineries will your host, on this 10-night Venice to Rome “cruise of a lifetime”. Once onboard, you will enjoy all the trapping of a deluxe cruise, PLUS a series of private parties, tastings and an exclusive five-course wine-maker dinner paired with some of the winery’s best Pinot’s and Chardonnays. Other wines will be served, including the much-lauded Martinelli Jackass Hill Zinfandel, made by famed winemaker Helen Turley. Both Martinelli and FOXEN regularly received 90+ ratings from both Robert Parker and the Wine Spectator, but what makes their wines so unique and so collectable, is their sense of place (terroir). This will become apparent when you taste them side-by-side on this first-ever Russian River and Santa Barbara County tandem wine-cruise. FOXEN: “I hope readers have recognized how gorgeous the Foxen wines have been over the last five or six years. Their individuality and distinctiveness as well as high quality are evidenced in their newest releases. Kudos to Foxen...” Robert Parker, Jr., The Wine Advocate, June 2008 MARTINELLI: "Always the most complex for my olfactory senses is the (2007) Pinot Noir Blue Slide Ridge. Full-bodied, opulent, broad, and seductive, this lush, heady Pinot can be enjoyed over the next 7-8 years." - 94 points. "( The) Zinfandel Jackass Hill Vineyard is an amazing wine-dense, full-bodied, idiosyncratic, and individualistic. These wines can last for decades." 96 points, Robert M.
