A region’s food and wine gives much insight to the land and culture. At Food & Wine Trails we have established culinary and viticulture contacts around the world, allowing us to design unique adventures especially for the food and wine lover.

Our cruises feature nationally recognized winemakers, chefs, and other food and wine superstars. These luminaries host small groups (of 25 to 130) and oversee the exclusive onboard wine-education program. 

As a guest on a Food & Wine Trails cruise, the cruise host will be your personal conduit to the world of food and wine. The onboard program may include private-to-the-group wine seminars, tastings, cocktail parties, and wine-paired dinners.

Land Programs and Shore Tours

As a Food & Wine Trails traveler, you will have the opportunity to join exclusive pre-cruise land programs and/or shore tours at some of the best ports of call in the world.

These tours greatly differ from the standard shore excursions usually offered by a cruise line. Each of our programs are custom‐designed with the food and wine aficionado in mind. Our tours focus specifically on the food, wine, and culture of each region, to reflect the local terroir. We keep our groups small to encourage intimacy. This also means that our tours tend to sell out quickly and we sometimes need flexibility in case our food and wine hosts run into last‐minute changes. But this ensures that every Food & Wine Trails tour is an authentic experience.

His co-host is Lindy Novak of Spottswoode Estate Vineyard and Winery; a renowned Cabernet Sauvignon producer in Napa Valley, established in 1882. Lindy is one of the two daughters of the current winery owner, Mary Novak.
