Cruises
Wine and food cruises offer the best value for those looking to combine their passion with quality, convenience and conviviality. Because cruise pricing is inclusive, and based in US dollars, a high-end, small-ship Mediterranean food and wine cruise will (as an example) typically cost 50% or less than a comparable land tour. All our cruises are hosted by nationally recognized winemakers or chefs and most include free-airfare from your home city as well as such niceties as special dinners and tastings, prepaid gratuities and shipboard credits. All offer the convenience of not having to pack and unpack and the fun and conviviality of traveling with a group of like-minded people.
We now offer two types of wine and food cruises:
Our “Private Label” cruises feature well-known winemakers or chefs who travel with the group as the trip-host. These luminaries oversee a series of tastings, dinners and parties, which are private to your group and act as your personal conduit to the world of food and wine. A list of our Private Label cruises can be found to the left, or you can find detail on each cruise by moving down the page. Most these trips also includes optional small-group SHORE TOURS to top wine estates, vineyards and restaurants. These too are kept private to your group. They are consistently one of the highest-rated parts of our trips and were a primary reason that the editors of Conde Nast Traveler rated our company as “The best wine-tour company in the world”.
We are also proud to offer our new Food & Wine At Sea and Bon Appetit Travel Series: Here the chef or winemaker provides educational content but does not act as the trip host. But like with our other food and wine cruises, you still will enjoy a series of private events and activities, and a bevy of value-added concessions. What does a Food & Wine Trails wine cruise offer that no other wine-or-cruise-vacation does? All the above, PLUS great cruise discounts on the world's best cruise lines: Silveseas, Regent, Crystal, Oceania, Holland America and more to soon come.
